Campaign Statuses
This article will provide a rundown of the Campaign Statuses used within our Blast product. The statuses are important both in communicating the state of the campaign, but in dictating which actions can be taken on the campaign at that time. |
Campaign Status | Description |
Draft | At this stage, the campaign has some or all of the details filled out, including the Campaign Name, the Outbound Line, and the Campaign Messages. The next status would be Defined, where you would add your contacts. Allowable Actions:

Defined | At this stage, all of the campaign details are completed and the Campaign Contacts have been selected. The next status would be Scheduled. Allowable Actions:

Scheduled | In this status, at least one campaign message has been scheduled. Even if not all of the messages within the campaign have a set date/time specified, the campaign is still considered Scheduled because a bulk message is scheduled to be sent. The next status would be Running. Allowable Actions:

Running | This status indicates that the campaign is actively sending messages. It is in the process of completing the defined schedule of the campaign. To edit the campaign schedule, you will have to Stop the campaign, putting it in the Stopped status. The next status would be Complete. Allowable Actions:

Stopped | This status will only be used if you manually Stop a campaign that is Scheduled or actively Running. A campaign will remain in the Stopped status, sending no messages, until you Restart the campaign or archive it. Allowed Actions:

Complete | Once all messages in a campaign have been sent, the campaign status will update to Complete. There are no more active message schedules on the campaign in this status. Allowed Actions:
